On behalf of the management and our staff we take great pleasure in welcoming
you to our Hotel De Koepoort.
We will do our best to make your stay as pleasant and enjoyable as possible.
In this guest service directory you will find our hotel domestic
regulations, services and facilities.
Should you require any personal assistance or information? Please contact our
reception team or dial number 9 on the telephone in your room and we be
delighted to help you.
We welcome your comments and suggestions to improve our standard of
service.

We would like to inform you that Hotel De Koepoort is a non-smoking hotel. Smoking is not allowed within the complete premises. Smoking is allowed at both hotel terraces.
When contravening this smoking prohibition a fine will be charged.
 
Emergency / Fire alarm
 
In case of an emergency or fire, please observe the following rules;
 
Always call reception.
Report fire by breaking the glass of the fire alarm.
Close windows and doors.
Use the fire extinguishers if possible. You can find them on every floor.
Leave the building immediately by the closest exit. (check the escape map in your room)
Never use the elevator!
Everybody needs to gather at the parking, right outside the hotel.
 
In case you cause a false alarm we have to charge you for the costs on your receipt.
 
 
General Hotel Information
 
Airport The hotel offers several transportations to the airport Schiphol. The airport is easily accessible from the hotel by public transport and Taxi. More information can be found at the reception.
 
Air-conditioning All the hotel rooms are equipped with air-conditioning. To take full advantage of the air conditioning in your room, we advise you to keep the windows closed.
 
Adapter You can borrow an adapter for free at the reception. There will be a deposit booked of €25,00 on your bill as a guarantee.
 
Bar Our bar is located on the ground floor. The bar is open until midnight.
 
Bathrobe/slippers Would you like to use a bathrobe and slippers, please contact the reception. The costs will be the rental price of €5,00. You can also buy a new bathrobe for €50,00.
 
Bicycles  The hotel offers you the opportunity to enjoy and discover Enkhuizen by bicycle. Please contact the reception if you would like to use the bikes, so we can rent a bike for you at an external company. Breakfast Daily we serve an international breakfast from 7 till 10:30 AM every day. Please let us know, at the check-in, if you need a gluten-free breakfast. Would you like to invite a guest for breakfast, that is possible and will cost €14,95 per person.
 
Camera Surveillance For your and our safety we’ve got 24-hour surveillance cameras in use. It's possible to view the surveillance camera protocol at the reception.

Check in The reception service is open 24 hours a day.
The check-in time is from 3 PM
Do you need to drop off your luggage before check-in? Please aks our reception. They are happy to help you!

Check out The checkout time is at 11 AM. You are kindly requested to leave the room not later than the checkout time. Please inform the reception in case you would like to check out later. Late Check Out costs can be rated. 
 
Credit cards For payments or guarantee we accept the following credit cards; Visa, MasterCard.
 
Doctor Do you need a doctor or medical help, do not hesitate to contact the reception.
 
Do Not Disturb If you do not want to be disturbed, please use the "do not disturb" card.
 
Early Checkout Would you like or have to check out earlier than you booked? Please inform the reception as soon as possible. 
  
Exchange It is not possible to exchange money at the hotel.

Extra’s Do you need an extra blanket, pillow or something else? Please do not hesitate to contact the reception. We will bring it to your room. 

Our Gym & Yoga is the place to be., for anyone who could use an extra portion of "zen",
As a guest of the hotel you can visit our beautiful Gym & Yoga daily from 7 AM to 10 PM to relax and recharge.                 
 
Housekeeping Your room will be cleaned between 9:00 AM and 5.00 PM. Do you have a preference for a time, report this to reception and they will arrange it for you. You can contact the reception between 7 AM and 11 PM if you need new/extra towels or any other items or use the "please clean my room" card.
 
Iron and board This is available at the reception on request. We will ask €25,00 deposit. Please contact the reception after using it to be picked up.
 
Laundry The hotel offers a laundry service. You will find a pricelist and laundry bag in your room. If you would like to have more information, please contact our reception. If you bring your laundry to the reception before 10 AM, your laundry will be returned to you the same day.
 
Late Check Out The hotel offers you the opportunity to stay longer in the room. The checkout time is at 11 AM. After 11 AM there will be a charge of €15,00 up to 12:30 am. Please inform the reception the day before or the morning of departure if you would like to have a late checkout.
 
Liability The management cannot be held liable for lost or theft of your belongings in the hotel.
 
Lost & Found Did you find anything or did you forgot something in the room, please contact the reception who will assist you. All the items that we find in the hotel will be kept for three months. 
 
Lounge- bar In the lounge- bar you can enjoy a drink and something to eat. Please check the menu in this Guest Service Directory.
 
Luggage You can leave your luggage with us for a short term after check out. This is for your own responsibility.
 
Luggage down If you need help with your luggage, do not hesitate to contact the reception for assistance.
 
Maintenance Do you have a technical problem in your room, please do not hesitate to contact the reception. We will contact our Maintenance to help you as soon as possible.
  
Minibar Due to the CO-2 emissions/energy saving there isn't a minibar in your room but at the reception you can get 24/7 drinks and snacks from our reception minibar. Our employees are happy to inform and help you.
  
Parking The hotel has a few parking spots available for hotel guests for an extra charge of €9,00 per night. The hotel does have a bicycle garage so that every guest can park their bicycle safely. The management cannot be held liable for lost or theft of your belongings in the hotel. This is free of charge. Ask the reception for the key.

Pharmacy Please contact the reception for the best information about the pharmacy.
 
Public transport The hotel is centrally located. The railway station is a 15 minute walk. If you prefer to take a taxi, we would like to call one for you. The trains from Enkhuizen railway station are running every 30 minutes to Hoorn, Amsterdam and Amersfoort.
 
Room service  We will bring whatever you need for drinks or food with pleasure to your room. This is possible for a fee of €3,50.
 
Safe The room has a safe where you can store your valuables. At the safe you can find the instructions. If you have any questions or problems, please contact the reception.

Smoking The hotel and all rooms are non-smoking. It is not allowed to smoke in the public areas, in the room or from the window of your room. When contravening this smoking prohibition a fine will be charged: cigarettes €125,00 and soft drugs €250,00.
 
Taxi If you need a taxi, please contact the reception desk.
 
Television All rooms are equipped with a flat-screen TV.
  
Toiletries At the reception desk you could ask for the following toiletries: dental kit, shaving kit, comb.
 
Wake-up service Please inform the reception about the time and a friendly voice will wake you up.
 
WIFI The hotel and all rooms are equipped with free wireless internet.
